Asclera is an FDA-approved injectable medication used in sclerotherapy to treat certain uncomplicated spider veins and small varicose veins in the lower extremities. The solution is carefully injected into the appropriate vein, causing it to gradually close and fade over time. Multiple sessions may be necessary depending on the number and size of the veins.
