If you are interested in receiving a breast augmentation, you have probably done some research and are aware that there are multiple incision options available for the procedure. It may seem difficult to decide which is the right one for you, and understanding the benefits of each will make it much easier to make a decision.

The inframammary incision is made along the natural fold where the bottom of the breast meets the chest wall. This incision is very popular, because the post-surgical marks produced by the procedure are hidden underneath the breasts. In addition, the incision will not increase the likelihood of experiencing nerve damage in the nipples.

At Ocean Plastic Surgery Center, we will provide you with all the information you need about the available incision options for breast augmentation so you can make an informed decision. Contact us to schedule your consultation with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. William Aiello.
