If you plan on completing it at your consultation appointment, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you have your fully scheduled time available with Dr. Aiello.

What can I expect during my consultation?

When you arrive for your consultation you can expect a professional and comforting experience. After completing your paper work, you will meet with Dr. Aiello and his Consultant, Anna. They will go over with you what it is you would like to change about your body and discuss your expectations. Dr. Aiello will perform an exam and go through the procedure(s) in detail. This process can take up to an hour, because Dr. Aiello will want to make sure that all your questions have been answered and all your concerns addressed.

After your visit with Dr. Aiello, you will have a chance to sit down with our Consultant, Anna. She will give you detailed quotes for the procedure(s) that you and Dr. Aiello have discussed. If you are interested in financing, that information will be given to you at this point in your appointment. Finally, if you are ready to schedule the procedure you can do so right then with her, or you can go home and give her a call when you are ready.

If I decide that I would like to have a procedure performed, how soon will I be able to book that procedure?

We tell patients to plan to have surgery within 4 to 6 weeks of their consultation. However, if your schedule requires a closer date than 4 weeks, our Consultant Anna will work her hardest to get a surgery date that works for your schedule. There are certain times of year that are very busy and book up far in advance, please always remember the farther in advance you plan your procedure, the more likely you are to have more choices in dates.

Can I bring my husband/friend/mother to my consultation?

You are welcome to bring whomever you choose to your consultation. However, please keep in mind, this is a medical appointment, you will be asked questions about your health history, previous surgeries and medications. If you are not comfortable discussing these matters in front of the person you are bringing, it might be best for them to wait in our lobby for you. We also do ask that, if at all possible, you try to find arrangements for your children. This appointment is lengthy and also requires you disrobe and be examined. We do not have staff to provide childcare outside the consultation rooms during your appointment.

After my consultation, do I have any more appointments before my surgery date?

All surgeries require you to come back in for a pre-operative appointment one week prior to your surgery. At this appointment you will meet with Dr. Aiello again and be introduced to his nurse, Tracy. She will review your surgical consents, give you instructions for the night before surgery, the day of surgery, and the day after. In the case of breast augmentation patients, we have you bring in your Rice Test from home to measure for implant sizing. It is helpful if you can bring your after surgery caretaker to this appointment, as Tracy and Dr. Aiello will be speaking with them the day of and the day after surgery.
